A mix highlighting rising artists in Latin alternative music. Club Fonograma's absence has left a huge void in promoting Iberoamerican indie- at least from an English-language source. When bigger publications do focus on our music they tend to over promote the same artists or scenes, never truly capturing how varied and expansive the culture has become. Moreover, i'm just frustrated with how playlists on streaming platforms have so little imagination. This mix was made in the spirit of what the Fonogramáticos aimed for: a mood that's impossible to describe, but through a collection of great songs will forever exist.
