This is part three of a series of playlists centered around the five stages of grief. Each of the characters of Madoka Magica represent one of the stages of grief through their actions, personality, and their response to grief. Mami represents bargaining, because she makes a contract with Kyubey to stay alive. She's unable to save her family, and she puts up a facade to deal with her loneliness. Sadly, as soon as she finds someone to fight by her side, she dies a gruesome death, and is never able to resolve her issues with loneliness and the loss of her loved ones.
