This is part one of a series of playlists centered around the five stages of grief. Each of the characters of Madoka Magica represents one of the stages of grief through their actions, personality, and their response to grief. Homura represents denial, because she refuses to accept Madoka's fate. She repeats time again and again, trying to prevent the inevitable death of the one she loves the most. She holds on to hope that she can save Madoka, and this ends up being her downfall.
