Notes
The 1990s was one of the best decades for women in rock. From the first time I head the harmonica on Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill", to my first goodbye to a lover Pop Culture referencing Sinead O'Connor's song which I discovered in Brett Easton Ellis' "Glamorama". It was definitely Sarah McLachlan's brainchild Lilith Fair, though, that confirmed that women had taken hold of Rock's reins in this decade, which I am thankful to have grown up in.
