I like the dichotomy of "down" then "up"; sounding positive, but actually being quite negative in total.
Some of the songs in this mix do just that, cheerful, toe-tapping melodies with lyrics telling a story as dark and cold as an abandoned dead body. However, it's not all doom and gloom up in here!
It's a meandering journey, through moods and genres, swinging trapeze-style from track to track, sometimes one song melodiously melting into the next, at others, a hard stop, an alarm sounding a clarion call, catapulting you into a whole other musical mindspace!
