they said it was sinful, and you knew it when it happened. but they never said it could feel like the freedom in the brush underneath you as you chase the night through the trees, the wind a breathy rush in your ears and the howl a liberated declaration on your tongue. they don't know it was like the current of power that pulses through your entire body when you lick the last of the crimson staining your pointed teeth, strength so potent in that moment that you swear you could grind iron into sand with just a touch. because when it's moonlight that beckons you both, when your brands of beast aren't so different from each other when the stars emerge, how can they say it's so wrong?
