Ron Albanese is a long-running, popular New Jersey-based kids’ and family entertainment personality, known for his comedy, and patented “kiddie rock ’n’ roll!” music.

Also known to the little ones as POLKA DOT!, this school teacher and parent blends the best of bubblegum, glam rock, and some surf music - “the sounds of my childhood!” - with offbeat song ideas, to create a type of retro music that’s all new - and all fun!

“My songs are definitely ‘feel-good, let’s go’ kinds of stuff,” Ron says, adding, “they’re catchy, energetic, and hopefully, stay in your head all day!”

What’s extra interesting about Ron’s music is its wide appeal, an age age (to quote his song “Jumpin’ Jack Attack!”) ranges from “ages 2 to ninety five.”

“My music is for anyone into fun,” he states, and annually Ron performs over 100 solo and full-band shows all over the Tri-State area (and Florida, too), at events of all kinds - fairs, festivals, schools, pools, private events, and more. His concerts include interactive storytelling and comedy “bits and skits,” costumes, staging, and effects - all fitting for what Ron calls “colorful, cool stuff.”

Ron Albanese - POLKA DOT! music has been featured on satellite, terrestrial, and Internet radio, as well as podcasts and on television. Songs like “The Robot from Honolulu!,” “Jumpin’ Jack Attack!,” and “(You Gotta) Learn to Take Turns!” lend themselves to audiences - and ears … and feet! - of all ages.

A consummate performer, Ron has also been featured on major network morning shows. The Freeform network (formally ABC Family) licensed some of his video footage, and the hip online clothing retailer Betabrand declared him a “model citizen,” and made him the subject of a video biography. He is also regularly called upon to emcee and host events, and is a voice artist.

The bottom line of everything Ron does is “fun, plain and simple - I just want to get everyone to cut loose and have a blast!”
