"Some times I wake up in the middle of the night, scared and sweaty." She said, looking at her counterpart. "I walk up to the mirror in our room and what I see looking back at me, it isn't who I am. It's you. You're there laughing, and I'm so terrified, because what I gaze at is simply horrible. It's not what I ever wanted for either one of us..." She shakes her head, the words failing her.
The Queen looked her up and down, a predatory scowl on her face, and Regina couldn't help the shiver that ran through her.
"What happened to us made us stronger, feared. It made us unstoppable-"
"No, it did not." Regina interruped the Queen, her eyes brimming with tears. "It made us broken."
