after hollyleaf goes missing in the tunnels, willowshine sleeps with an ear to the ground so that they can hear the sounds of shifting in the earth and remind themself that, yes, their love could still be alive underneath all the rock and earth. willow stops consulting starclan about holly's location b/c they do nothing but mumble and judge. instead they consult the stones, the loose soil, the roots of flowers that stretch down to that shining place where holly still exists
