The opener/Jesus built My Hotrod ripoff was actually my first experience with them (but don't hold it against me, I was only 13 at the time). Caught the video on MTV's "120 Minutes" I believe (or possibly Headbanger's Ball?). I prefer their earlier stuff as well though.
