The musical causes and effects of David Bowie's Berlin Trilogy (consisting of Low, "Heroes", and Lodger), a trio of experimental rock albums released between 1977 and 1979 that introduced elements of ambient, electronic, punk, and Krautrock to Bowie's sound.

Due to the functioning of 8tracks, 'DJ' from the 1979 David Bowie album Lodger could not be included. Please listen between tracks 11 and 12.
