AU- Jamie and Joan are rival employees at a law firm. They're both applying for a partner position when their rivalry heats up. Jamie isn't above deceitful tactics and threats while Joan has no problem standing up to her. Their volatile relationship leads into violent (consensual) hate-sex which, after awhile, leads into something more tender.
