@vendettaotaku Protopunk, the original punk movement did take place in the 70s and it took place in both Britain and the us. However, Punk England is a combination of protopunk and UK82, the British punk movement of the 80s. The 80s was when punk got big and became a fully developed subculture. The punk movement is still alive and well. Punk in England is still a thing. The thing is the automatic classification of pop punk as punk when it is really a separate genre. I'm sorry I went off on you, but as a punk I was really tired of looking for a combo of fandom and my music and finding myself misrepresented. I may have been confused as to how this playlist represented the relationship rather than two separate characters.I think this was partially miscommunication and my fondness for Internet confrontation, and I accept that and I apologize. But Don't try to argue with me on punk history because as a punk and a history nerd I can go on for a long time. I'll start talking about the influence of 80s glam rock and the various sub genres and derivatives of punk and not a whole lot of people will want to read that.

Sweetheart I really appreciate what you have done here but Punk!England is based on the punk movement of the 80s. I understand that this is probably what you know of as punk rock, but true British punk rock is the Clash, the Sex Pistols, the dammed, etc.
