The second instalment of “The Christmas Records Santa Claus Forgot” features an eclectic selection of festive treats from Shane MacGowan, John Williams and the legendary Jazz oddball Sun Ra, plus many more. It spans musical genres as diverse as Ghanaian funk, English folk, Chicago blues and Jamaican Ska (all with a Christmas theme of course).

The inspiration for putting this series of Christmas mixes together came from the legendary DJ, John Peel, and the man himself kicks off the mix with an intro taken from his 1992 radio show “John Peel's Other Christmas Records”. Also, look out for a super rare recording of Soft Machine & Marc Bolan singing along with Peel to Good King Wenceslas on his 1970 BBC Radio programme “Top Gear”.
