A collection of songs - many of them now considered standards - that had their origins in the physical and spiritual space we call "Tin Pan Alley." A few of these songs are different versions of the same tune. This is done to illustrate how malleable these standards can be. It is almost as if contemporary songs are molded to the performers, whereas Tin Pan Alley songs can be shaped to the performer. As always, this was posted for my "Good Vibrations: The Evolution of Pop Music" class at George Brown College.
