hi! ~ ¡hola! Visionaries is a multimedia apprenticeship that empowers teens to make their own media that documents and reflects their world. Apprentices learn the fundamental aspects of photography, documentary video, sound production or graphic design and learn the basics of design software. By applying the skills they learn in the program, teens are able to tell stories and address issues that are important to them. Visionaries is programming funded from After School Matters, and is happily sited at Erie Neighborhood House in West Town ~ Chicago IL.
