We both are, or were, married to our jobs, so to speak. We both know what it is to burn, just as we both know loss. He is… Comforting. Soft, gentle, warm. I am a shattered mirror and he handles my jagged edges so wonderfully, so expertly. Probably because he’s broken as well.
