they know their dad's gonna come back at some point, and theyll be back on the road again, back to empty lives of motel rooms and shotgun shells; cheap whiskey burn and things that go bump in the night. but for now, they're free, no one to control them, they're allowed to be a little wild, and they fucking love it.
