Howard left behind a legacy, one reflected in literature, film, video games, and music; A legacy of horror from beyond, of an existential dread so strong it drips from the pages. He wrote us tales of the inhuman and unhuman, the monstrous and the wholly mortal. Much of his material is repugnantly bigoted, but other stuff is just terrifying. Love him or hate him, you cannot escape him. Admire his works or loathe his words, you cannot deny the impact he has had on the world.
