I've been using my nom-de-porn, Muriel Lee Jones, or Muriel Jones, for fifteen years, time for a change. Now I'm Pied Piper Tale, no porn involved.

I am South African but living in the USA, training horses, writing books, helping you organize you.

I am currently creating a multi-media graphic novel about a raven and a rat and a child and tricky tricky tricksters and language and cognition. The Rat and Child flee across Raven's silent universe away from they-know-not-what (possibly a tortoise, I'm still deciding) to find some sort of knowing and a trick or two. Someone gets eaten, probably, possibly more than obe someone, possibly more than once--it's that kind of universe.

My watching obsessions are:- Supernatural, The Sandman, Old Guard, Criminal Minds, Loki, Constantine (but not the movie with Keanu) and Bold and the Beautiful, and some truly horrid children's TV from the seventies and eighties which I don't want to talk about in public.

Author Obsessions are: Neil Gaiman, anyone Bronte, Nnedi Okorafor, and Milton. And Andy Weir. And RF Kuang. And also NK Jemsin. As well as Ursula LeGuin. I'm terrible about trying new authors.

Obsessions just in general: Cognition, Language, Hominid Anthropology, African History, Kemit, Isis, Middle English, Crows, Ravens, Rats and not Rats, how the universe got here, energy, mysticisms and mysteries, Mazes and Labyrinths, power over, bureaucracies, Monsters under the bed and in your head or my head, that got loose in a universe, and are coming for you, or me--or not; perhaps they keep to themselves. And puzzling my way through marketing and distribution of comics. And also I'm obsessed by my collie dogs, and horses.
