mk ultra was an experimental program that lasted throughout most of the
50's and 60's before being halted and exposed in the 70's. they used nazi
scientists as well as american biological warfare technicians to test substances
like lsd on unsuspecting and non-consenting victims to figure out how to create
a mind-control drug (other tests tried to create a memory-wiping chemical or a
truth serum). the horrific tests done on men, women, children, and animals have
outraged american citizens for decades- and some believe that these tests
continue to this day.
