A tribute to Jean Harlow, the original Platinum Blonde (1931 film). The original Blonde Bombshell (1933 film). Jean not only popularized the platinum blonde look, she was also the woman Marilyn Monroe modeled her screen look and persona after. Monroe at one time was to star in a biopic of Jean.

Harlow died in her mid twenties as one of the biggest stars of 1930s Hollywood. A sex symbol on screen, a woman yearning for companionship in her real life. My mix is about both her screen persona and her real life.

Trivia: The line "Excuse me while I slip into something more comfortable" is a misquote of Jean from Hell's Angels where she says "Would you be shocked if I put on something more comfortable?"
