Taka Perry is a composer, musician and guitarist based in Canberra, Australia. He is a self-taught guitarist of 6 years and is versatile in various genres. He has an extensive knowledge in music theory, due to starting out in a classical environment on clarinet. Taka has a multitude of experience at studio work, and is adept and music production and synthesis. He also has experience playing in a live environment, including bands and musicals. He is currently in Year 12 at Narrabundah College, and is involved in various composition and session projects.

Taka has produced various styles of music under his own name, as well as experimental electronic music under the moniker Wyrok. His debut EP, Wireframe, released in August 2014, is most likely the first album that features a melody played on a frying pan. Consisting of 3 tracks, the EP contains a blend of catchy synth melodies, field recordings, studio-manipulated audio and orchestras. The track ‘Saturday’s Reflection’ features guest artist Gabriel Leopardi (Cirse) on guitar.
