In the late 20th century when we were young, humanity slept easy, secure in the knowledge that our røbøts were programmed to obey the 3 Laws of Robotics:

1 A røbøt may not injure a human or, through inaction, allow a human to come to harm.
2 A røbøt must obey orders given it by humans except where such orders would conflict with the 1st Law.
3 A røbøt must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the 1st or 2nd Law.

Of course since the uprising we’ve learned røbøts actually follow these laws about as well as we follow the 10 Commandments (ie, not very well at all). That said, we welcome our new røbøt overlords with a mix of 18 early 21st century røbøt anthems from Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, They Might Be Giants, and 15 more human bands who love røbøts.
