A long time ago in a galaxy, far, far away (or maybe it was the 1980’s in New Jersey) a small but influential musical movement known as “The Hoboken Sound” emerged. These are some of the sounds that were made. Featuring Yo La Tengo, the Bongos, Freedy Johnston, and 16 more bands who knew the coolest rock club in New York City was in New Jersey.

N.b. The final hour and 9 minutes of this mix is supposed to be the complete long version of the World’s Longest Pop Song, “The Devil Glitch”, but true to its name, the upload glitched, so we had to substitute the short version
