She stepped out of the room, looked once at the disarray, and shut the door with a soft click. Her eyes seemed especially dark, glimmering in the flickering hallway light. Lilith strode down the hall, heels clicking on the linoleum floor, and her lips stretched into a smirk.
'Look at me, Adam. Look what I've become.'
She was a queen. She was a devil. She wore blood like lipstick; she wore black pumps tall enough to skewer any man who got in her way; she wore power like perfume.
'Look at me, Adam. Don't take your eyes off me, because when I find you, I will show you what I'm made of.'
