Mike Chilton escapes Detroit Deluxe to the underground Motorcity. The billionaire Abraham Kane is in charge of KaneCo. and all of Detroit Deluxe. Kane labels Mike as an outlaw when he refuses to help demolish Motorcity, because of the residents that reside there. A former soldier and Kane's former right-hand man, Mike works to lead Motorcity against Kane. He leads the rebel group known as the Burners, which includes Kane's own daughter, Julie Kane. Detroit Deluxe is a dystopian society masked as a utopia.
