From sweet 60s girl group tunes to mournful early 20th century ballads about doll-like women to to vintage Japanese idol pop to obscure experimental music made only with toy instruments, these are my favorite songs that evoke memories and thoughts of toys, dolls, fairy tales and secret games. Some make me think of childhood, others are more sinister and grown-up, and a few lie in a gray area that is candy-sweet yet very mysterious. All are beautiful and fun to listen to! Enjoy :)
