Hello and welcome! You've found the 8tracks profile page for Bradley Southerton of Traverse City, Michigan.

From a young age, Bradley became very passionate about music. He was heavily influenced at home by his mother and grandmother's musical influence and took piano lessons for three years, starting at the age of nine. From there, Bradley began playing percussion through the Manistee area public school system. He actively engaged in every performance opportunity he was able to be a part of, including concert band, marching band, jazz band, percussion ensemble, solo and ensemble competitions, as well as high school and community theater pit orchestras, all the while continuing to take private drum lessons to hone his craft.

At the age of fifteen, that Bradley was invited to play drums in his first local garage band. It was there that he was introduced to performing cover songs and learning the ins and outs of working in an independent musical group. From that point forward, Bradley was continuously involved in performing in numerous independent music groups throughout his life, all the while expanding his involvement from merely playing drums to also performing vocals, writing songs, and co-managing groups in the areas of booking, marketing, advertising, merchandising, and networking. The most notable of these groups were, in chronological order, Autumn Angst (a five-piece punk rock, ska, and jazz group based out of Manistee), Carlton (a four-piece punk rock group based out of Grand Rapids), and The Drive (a three-piece acoustic rock group based out of Big Rapids, Grand Rapids and Chicago).

Bradley created this page so that he can share his musical life with others. From time to time, he will be posting songs from his past groups, so please stop back in periodically. Also feel free to like, share, and follow. I'm not sure if those are things you do on this site, but you know what I mean, right?

Does anyone ever read these things? Even if they do, I'd be very shocked if someone had actually read all the up way to this point. I mean, you would probably have to at least know me pretty well in order to fain interest enough to read this, because no one would ever spend this much time reading about a complete stranger, right? Well anyway, thanks for sticking in there and enjoy the music!
