When Scheherazade told her stories to the Sultan Shahyrar, she was not simply recounting them.
She was creating chimeric worlds full of wonder and magic for the Sultan to explore, rich in details to entice each of the 5 senses, and steeped in the trappings and lore of the orient.

This particular set was inspired by Scheherazade and the 1001 Arabian Nights. My favourite collection of stories since I was a child.

These songs evoke, for me, an atmosphere of the exotic, mysterious, and adventurous. Very much in the spirit of the stories of Scheherazade.
